UST. I’m not sure if this is the main building or what. But it’s very awesome in terms of its architecture.

About:

This WAS my creative output for our Sociology class. Now it became an avenue to load photos taken by me (or my close friends).

The pictures here are taken with Nikon D70s, or 35-mm Lomo Split Camera or with my phone (Samsung GT-B5722) or with my Canon PowerShot A510 (my old digicam which is not with me anymore). Most of the pictures are post-processed with Adobe Lightroom (a few with Adobe Photoshop 7 or CS5) while some are published unedited. For more details and specs of the picture, go to

Don't hesitate to ask me. ;)

------------------------------------------------------------------
[This was the description I used for my Sociology project.]

The pictures here all deal with the question: Who Am I?

As part of our final grade in SA21, we were asked to produce a creative output which primarily evaluates and explores on what I think my "habiti(?)" are.

CONTEXTUALIZATION

This series of photos deals on the forces that mainly mold my identity.

Education and the school, being a powerful social institution, has made a big impact of who I am now. It is where I gain my prestige.

Popular culture and the media, which come along with the technology, influence my style of living, the way I think individually and the way I interact with other people. I consume them and they consume a part of me as well.

Expression of one's self is one of the most important factor in an individual's life. Arts, in the form of dancing, speaks of my inner emotions and thoughts.

And the mere idea that this output is presented in virtual form speaks something of my identity, not only in the real world, but also in this complicated realm of cyber world.

Who am I is a big question for everyone for it forces you consider everything that has made you into what you are now. Moreover, it will force you to think if you are really what you want you are, or is it just a reflection and projection of what others want you to be.
